The M2 Processor (by Brompton*) is used on Large LED video screen, it takes in a variety of inputs and has 4 output ports that can drive up to a maximum of 500,000 pixels per port, but there are some conditions. Frame Rate, Colour Depth and how many pixels each connected tile has can impact the number of tiles you can drive per Port.

By selecting the type of LED tile in the wall (Currently CT only has the Roe MC7HB, Black OnyX 3.47, Black OnyX 2.8 and the Carbon 4 LED tile with the Brompton Receiver Cards installed) and selecting a frame rate, and colour depth you can see how many tiles you can connect to each port and total tiles to the Processor.

This application has now been updated for the SX40 Processor.

I wrote this application for the Techs and PM's I work with so that they can see for simple LED screens how many M2 Processors they need on the show for a given frame rate and colour depth.

New LED Selection screen to choose between ROE and INFiLED products which means I can easily expand for future Brompton enabled LED Manufactures 1.0.11 05/02/2017 In this version I have added the ROE Carbon 5 (CB 5) and the Carbon 8 (CB 8) this has meant a slight interface tweak. V1.0.9 02/26/2017 I added in the ROE Carbon 4 product, and also tried to calculate the number of tiles wide and high per processor you can have tiles, its not perfect, but its a starting point. V1.0.8 11/30/2016 Changed the way information is presented to the user - I discovered that the way i calculate the number of processors needed for a given wall was not taking in to account the maximum input signal, so I have corrected that with an advance screen where you can now get better information. The First screen will now just give you basic information about the number of tiles per port and per processor that you can run, I have also added the ROE 2.8 black OnyX product a well as the 2 new Brompton Processors, the S4 and the T1. The Advance Screen will let you input the size of your LED screen and then the number of columns wide and rows high you will run per processor to give you the number of processors needed and the total pixel counts. 1.0.6 03/22/2016 1.0.3 09/12/2015
